Prince of Ashes

I am a martial arts Sensei, compassionate yet masculine, with a profound love for writing and teaching. Some have said that I'm something of an anachronism, attempting to live by a "code" which values honor and integrity, in a world where it seems that nice guys do indeed finish last. Former church organist, with musical taste which runs a spectrum from classical to Rammstein. (Go figure!) In 2005 I was able to lose 80 pounds, and keep it off, so I'm a frequent visitor to the gym, where I'm accompanied by my top student and gifted martial athlete, Danny, with whom I've developed a quite honorable mentoring relationship. My search is for authentic people in my life, whose sincerity is real, and not feigned, who are as hopelessly romantic as my own soul, and I enjoy being a positive part of young mens lives, and am able to do that, I would hope, with some measure of nobility. I love long conversations, and have a willing ear, interested in finding companions for this journey of life...
