I am shocked and dismayed at some of the responses I got after learning my status, even though I was dealing with it myself and not even ready for a relationship. Rejection hurts and I must say you might be surprised at how many men are out there not sharing their status because of this. I am an honest person and could not look myself in the mirror if I did not inform you of my HIV status. It has become an important part of who I am and it has honestly made my life better. I am seeking a male who will not judge me or bring unreasonable fears to the table. This is a circumstance that I have had to accept and there is no turning time back to change the outcome.
